Your community gathering place for the most enjoyable
lawn bowls experience imaginable.

Numurkah Bowls Club, is located beside Steam Engine K181, you can’t miss it or us on your left hand side as you travel northerly along Melville Street, towards the town centre.

The Numurkah Bowls Club inaugural meeting was held Friday 18 June 1909, the initial four rink green was laid out and competition bowls was first played by December that year. We commenced the move to our current location in 1949, with the number one green being laid. A ‘wind up’ game was played at the old site on April 14, 1951.

Our membership base is made up of weekend and midweek pennant bowlers and social members. We participate in the both the Murray Valley and Goulburn Valley Regions in a range of Divisions.

Our club openly promotes gender equality, creating balance between male and female members, both in on-field participants and off-field activities.  We are currently attempting to encourage younger and newly arrived people from the wider community.

We welcome bowler visitors to drop in a have a game as well as encouraging beginners to visit the club and explore the possibilities available to them, such as Barefoot bowls etc.

We have 3 outside, excellent well-paced grass greens and a total of 20 rinks available.
